Dermal fillers are increasingly popular. The effect is instant, subtle and flattering.
Dermal fillers are frequently used in the correction of scarring, wrinkles and other depressions in the skin. Most popular dermal fillers today are a form of hyaluronic acid which is a natural component of the skin with high moisturising capabilities, a substance naturally found in the body, and can be injected into the skin to improve the appearance of lines and wrinkles. For anyone with lines and wrinkles, folds or depressions in the skin, dermal fillers may be the best solution to improve appearance. The procedure is quick, often taking just 30 minutes or less to complete, and many people experience minimal downtime and side-effects.

How do Dermal Fillers work?
A dermal filler is a gel that is injected in to the line or wrinkle, cheeks or lips and immediately plumps up the area treated. We offer an anaesthetic cream to make the treatment comfortable for the patient.
How many Dermal Filler treatments will I need?
Normally only one treatment is necessary to get the results you want. The amount of filler we inject depends on the patient and your expectations will be discussed at your free consultation.
Will the Dermal Filler treatment hurt?
Before we start the treatment we offer an anaesthetic cream or injection to numb the area to be treated. This makes the injections more comfortable for the patient. Some redness and swelling can be expected after the treatment but most patients can return to work directly after the treatment.
How long will the Dermal Filler effect last for?
The effects of a dermal filler can last between 6 months and 2 years depending on the type of product we use. We offer fillers that last from 6 to 12 months and some that are longer lasting.
We will advise which would be the best treatment to use for your particular circumstances
How much will it cost?
At your consultation the nurse or doctor will discuss your treatment plan and the amount of filler that you would need to get the results you want.
The cost will be confirmed at your consultation.
